How We Support Your Children

Employment Related Day Care (ERDC)

Do you need help to pay for childcare? There is support available. Employment Related Day Care (ERDC) is Oregon’s child care assistance program that helps eligible families pay for child care while they work, attend school, or participate in TANF. ERDC can help cover costs like child care fees (including registration fees) so families can keep steady care and focus on employment or education.

Because it’s a subsidy, many families pay a monthly copay based on their household situation, and if a provider charges above the state’s covered limit, families may be responsible for the difference. After approval, families generally choose their child care provider, and the program also connects families with support to find and keep stable care.

Flexible Hours

If your work schedule is unpredictable, we’re built for that, not the chaos… the flexibility. Work schedules don’t always fit into a “9 to 5” box—so childcare shouldn’t either. Our Flexible Hours program supports working parents with early shifts, late shifts, school schedules, and changing work hours.

We offer regular daycare hours and additional care options by special request. If you need something outside our standard schedule, call us—let’s talk about what your family needs and what we can accommodate.
